There has been some time in Jessica Kale’s life when composing books for a living could have been considered a taboo. The daughter of university professors and a bright student as an early age, that the stage was set for her with a prosperous family that wanted nothing more than to see their kid using a stethoscope around her neck.

Born in Storrs, Connecticut, Jessica Kale climbed up in a world of intellectuals, in which the written word had been appreciated above all. Books were her best friends, along with her imagination the escape she desired from the world.

Now she resides in Hartford with her husband and two daughters, along with a notebook that allows her to let her imagination run rampant. That is, when her work is let by the puppy.
