Hi, I'm the author of picture books, young adult books, along with the 4 for 4 middle-grade series featuring Top of this Order, Eyes on the Goal, Love of the Game, and Take Your very best Shot, that follow four buddies through four sport as they navigate the adjustments involving elementary school and middle school. I write both fiction and nonfiction, such as To Extreme Sports-Crazy Boys Only. My latest picture book is Their Great Present: Courage, Sacrifice, and Hope in a New Land, a narrative about immigration with photographs by Wing Young Huie.

My latest YA novel is Gap Life about a boy named Cray whose parents will probably cover college, but only if he studies what they need, which isn't what he wants. You can Look Inside to receive a preview and I hope you enjoy it.
