When John grew older, he discovered a preference for wanderlust and adventure. As a young guy, he travelled the world with little but that which he could carry on his back. He's climbed Denali, improved the Amazon, and also spent a year in Japan, teaching English and feeding deer in the famed Nara Park. His love of history and philosophy has made him to become a master at Jeet Kune Do and also a practicing Taoist.

John writes a Macbook Pro and discovers himself hardly able to move a day without even creating something, be it an idea in infancy, or among the numerous novels he's going at any moment. He's prolific and some friends say manic in the pursuit and perfection of the craft. He loves to rip wide open his viewers' thoughts, showing them#x2014;a world, a character—they've never experienced or read before.
