Jon Carlson, PsyD, EdD, ABPP is celebrated Professor of Adlerian Psychology at a psychologist in the Wellness Clinic in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin and Adler University at Chicago. He was Distinguished Professor of Psychology and Counseling at Governors State University in University Park. He holds earned doctorates in clinical psychology and both counselling. Jon has served as editor of several periodicals including the Journal of Individual Psychology and The Family Journal. He retains Diplomates in Family Psychology and Adlerian Psychology. He's authored 175 journal posts and 60 books including Time for a Better Marriage, Adlerian Therapy, '' The Mummy at the Dining Room Table, Bad Remedy, The Client Who Changed Me, Moved by the Spirit, Creative Breakthroughs, American Shaman, Duped: Lies and Deception in Psychotherapy, Never Be Performed, Helping Beyond the Fifty Minute Hour, The way the Master Therapist Works and Being a Master Therapist. He's made over 300 professional commerce video and DVD's with top professional coaches and teachers. In 2004 the American Counseling Association named him a "Living Legend." In 2009 the Division of all the American Psychological Association (APA) appointed him “Distinguished Psychologist” to get his life contribution to psychotherapy and at 2011 he obtained the APA Distinguished Career Contribution to Education and Training Award. Recently an advice animation was syndicated by him using cartoonist Joe Martin On The Edge.
