JONAS SICKLER resides in a bungalow at Syracuse, NY with his wife Kelly along with his two sons Oliver along with Gabe. When he is not shoveling snow, Jonas is producing artwork from his sized dormer studio. Jonas is most inspired by older toys, in addition to textile design, animation that is classic books and games.

Jonas Sickler has ever been affected by the beautiful examples of Mary Blaire, in addition to the fantastic textile designs of Alexander Girard.

Jonas is a graduate of the Syracuse University school of Illustration. He began his career illustrating children’s novels. Jonas’ proffessional mission was for its October cover of Cicada Magazine in 2001. Since that time, Jonas has added his own portfolio and periodical illustrations. He's now focusing on demonstrating children’s novels (but nonetheless accepts editorial assignments). His six books are a part of this INDESTRUCTIBLES® string from Workman Publishing Company.
