Joshua Davies (1974-) is currently a software architect at NantHealth, specializing in network and security programming. Previously, he was a leader in Travelocity.com and a consultant for One, Inc. where he made solutions for clients such as AT&T, Digex, Nieman Marcus and the Mexican telecommunications giant Pegaso. He's been hacking on computers since the very first computer of the family was brought by his dad, a TI-99 / 4A, at 1982. With a bachelor's degree in computer science in the Valdosta State University and a master's degree in computer science from the University of Texas in Arlington, he has been programming for 20 years and as a result hasn't had to do any work. His passion has been system-level programming, although he plans in Java to cover the bills, along with his wife wishes that he'd stop cramming in as many systems and breaking the household's computers by repartitioning hard drives. He resides in Dallas, TX with his wife Lupita along with two children Isabelle and Dylan.
