Juniper Bowers is a certified yoga instructor and a licensed secondary instructor who has been teaching for more than 20 decades. She began her career in education as a high school Spanish teacher. When Juniper obtained her yoga training in Inner Gate Yoga, she had been drawn immediately to teaching yoga to kids. Her first yoga program for children, InterActive Anatomy, combines the analysis of body through motion. Juniper began teaching InterActive Anatomy as a summer program course and finally started teaching the class at Aldo Leopold Charter High School in Silver City, NM as an elective. The course evolved to become Mandala Yoga, including group yoga and team building exercises, as well as the study of mandalas, artwork, sacred geometry, and even rhythmic clapping games and#x201c;brain gym. ” This publication is a compilation of those presents created by the course. Juniper lives in Mimbres, New Mexico, with her husband Daniel and her two kids, Escher and Semilla. She loves to practice Yoga and Thai massage/Rossiter and has written three yoga curriculums for kids: InterActive Anatomy, Mandala Yoga, and also Alphabet at Action.
