K. Joseph Hurt, MD, PhD, FACOG is a Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the University of Colorado Denver, Anschutz Medical Campus. Dr. Hurt obtained MD and PhD degrees from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine where he also got his residency training in Gynecology and Obstetrics. He finished a Maternal Fetal Medicine fellowship at the University of Colorado, and directs that the Preterm Labor Research Laboratory in the Division of Reproductive Sciences. He cares for high risk obstetric patients and in the Colorado Institute for Maternal and Fetal Health, and teaches medical students and taxpayers as an attending on Labor & Delivery. Dr. Hurt is enthusiastic about his job and study from OB-Gyn and Perinatology, and is dedicated to producing the science, medication, and operation of OB-Gyn more accessible and evidence-based for students, researchers, along with other women's healthcare providers.
