She's presently working on her second title, a cook book called Venison: Jerky, Sausages and Marinades. She is the former food editor for #x & Outdoorsman2019;s Edge and has written for Outdoor Life and Deer & Deer Hunting magazines.
Kate also has appeared on CBS Evening News and MSNBC’s News with Brian Williams and was featured in both the New York Times and Newsday as a female hunter. Kate has given game cooking demos in the Shooting For Girls conventions as well as outdoor sports displays and has become a hunting teacher at the New York State Becoming an Outdoors Woman workshop.
Kate is a multi-talented businesswoman and wore many hats over the Business. She was an ENG editor for ABC News in New York City for seven Decades. Therefore, she received a George Foster Peabody award for her editing of the events.
Kate lives with her husband Peter in upstate New York in which they both enjoy roaming their farm using their yellow Labrador Retriever, Kira.
