Since getting Sr.. Helen to crack a smile after an unintended mispronunciation of organism at 6th-grade Biology class, Karny McFlynn has known the joy which accompanies making folks laugh.
For a stage actress, she could quite stop herself from going for the laugh, even if playing Lady MacBeth. Following an unfortunate stint having a Nunsense crazed director during a show that had been anything but a musical, Karny heard a different phone from Biology and shortly had a couple little ones about her knees. Ultimately, she also gave up her dreams of Broadway for more realistic matters... like food and sleep. She couldn't stop the jokes from coming even without a stage, so she simply started writing them down. She hopes you have as much fun reading her stories as she's writing them.
