Kate O'Hearn was created in Toronto Canada, but increased in the center of New York City and has lived in many areas throughout her entire life. Nowadays, she calls the south coast of England home. She has 3 brothers, no sisters and also is enthusiastic about animals and their triggers and contains lots of animal friends. (Pets)

Over the course of her entire life she has had several careers before discovering her real love, writing children's books. Being the only woman in family of boys she climbed up a real tom-boy and always adored books with high adventure. But one of the issues she discovered was a lack of female contributes to those adventure books.

When she began to compose, Kate made a decision to deal with this imbalance and now writes high fantasy adventures with strong, compassionate and experience loving girl heroes. There are loads of boys from the story to keep it challenging and interesting, but she believes a girl hero can be as brave, powerful and daring as a boy.

She states experiences are for everybody!
