Katie Delahaye Paine is founder and CEO of both Paine Publishing, LLC and Publisher of this Measurement Advisor, a publication devoted entirely to measurement topics. She's spent the past two decades helping businesses define success and design measurement programs because of their PR, Social Media and Communications applications. She had been a leading force behind The Conclave’s Standards for Social Media Measurement in Addition to the Barcelona Principles. She established two study companies and written three books, Measure What Matters (Wiley, March 2011) Measuring Public Relationships (KDPaine & Partners 2007) and#x201c;Measuring the Networked Nonprofit, Using Data to Change the Earth,” that won the 2013 Terry McAdam Book Award for non-profits. Paine is also a founding member of IPR’s Measurement Commission, a part of the PRNews Measurement Hall of Fame and also a board member of the Society for New Communications Research.
For the past 17 years, Paine has been supplying entrepreneurs and communications professionals tools, data and information to help them make better business decisions. She along with her companies have read and analyzed countless news posts, Internet postings and internal communications and have conducted thousands and thousands of interviews in the relentless pursuit of qualitative and qualitative actions of her customer's marketing success. She works with a number of the planet's most respected companies such as Raytheon, Hewlett-Packard, and Southwest Airlines. Most recently, her endeavors are focused on providing cost effective measurement programs for non-profits, small companies, and government bureaus.
Prior to starting Paine Publishing at 2013, Paine founded KDPaine & Partners that she sold in 2012 into News Group Holdings. She also established The Delahaye Group, which she sold to Medialink in
