Ken Lewis lives in the small town of Rogue River, Oregon where he had been the chief of police for fifteen decades, with both puppies and his spouse JaNell, Chewie, and Lindie. His first book, Small Blue Whales, was the Public Safety Writers Association 2010 Grand Prize Winner for Fiction. At 2012, The Sparrow's Blade, his crime book, won an Eric Hoffer award for fiction. Born in Idaho, Ken has been an enthusiastic outdoorsman of his lifetime. When he is not working or writing, he can often be found trekking foothills the hills, and higher desert country of Idaho and Oregon with a gun, bow, or fly rod in his own hands.
