Kim Schlinke was creating things since she hit on the entire world. Beginning with doll clothing made from her mother's sewing bits, she has researched her imagination. Self-taught, she's dabbled in painting, fiber arts, mixed media, woodworking and interior decorating.
At December of 2002 she obtained her very first pasta machine as a Christmas gift, after seeing Donna Kato work her magic on the Carrol Duval Show. Polymer clay became her enthusiasm. The boundless possibilities of the clay drive her ongoing discoveries.
Her polymer clay switches have been showcased in Gauge Knits along with Austin Fabric Co-op.
Both in Austin, TX.
Kim currently serves as Vice President of the Austin Polymer Clay Guild.
