Kimberly S. Brown was born at Eastern Kentucky and lived most of her lifetime in Central Kentucky before she transferred to Wyoming. She's publisher and a award-winning author, having spent nearly 30 years in Blood-Horse Publications. She even spend the first 15 working in the Thoroughbred magazine The Blood-Horse, along with the second half making the all-breed horse health magazine and site The Horse: Your Guide to Equine Health Care. She is a lifelong horse person who enjoys animals and the outdoors, and she's always been intrigued by history family history. Her first fiction publication, Appalachian Diary, was published in 2017. It's loosely based prior to World War II through the coal strikes. Other comic books and non-fiction books from Kimberly S. Brown are in the works.
