Korrel Kanoy

Korrel Kanoy, born in 1955 went on to get her master's and doctoral degrees from the University of Tennessee, and VA got her college degree in psychology from the University of Richmond. A college professor for over 30 years, she has taught courses such as general psychology, child development, growth, and emotional intelligence. As the faculty member and former Dean of Academic Affairs, Korrel has an extensive history of collaborating with faculty and student development professionals to plan programs and curricula that improve student achievement. Korrel recently fulfilled with a fantasy to compose the Lost Hat of Annie, a chidren's novel and enjoys educating parents about children's growth.

Korrel loves coaching others and offers EQi Certification Workshops along with a variety of applications for staff and faculty development.

Korrel spends leisure time interacting with family and friends, exercising, reading, and spending time at the lake or beach.
