Originally Kristin Gleeson lives in the West Cork Gaeltacht, in which she runs two book clubs for the village library, plays harp, sings in a Irish choir and teaches art classes. She holds a Masters in Library Science and a Ph.D. in history, and also for a time was a secretary of a federal denominational archives, museum and library in the Us.
Myths and other folk stories have always fascinated her and she combined with her love of these tales with her harp playing and played as a professional harper/storyteller in events in Britain, America and Ireland.
