New York Times bestselling author Kristine Kathryn Rusch writes in every genre. Ordinarily, she uses her name (Rusch) to get the majority of her writing. Under that name, she publishes bestselling award-winning puzzles and fantasy, science fiction, mainstream fiction that is acclaimed nonfiction, along with the occasional romance. Her novels have made bestseller lists across the globe and her fiction has appeared at eighteen top of the entire year collections. She has won more than awards including the Hugo, Le Prix Imaginales, the Asimov & #x2019; s Readers Choice award, along with also the Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine Readers Choice Award, for her fiction.

She edits. Beginning with work in the publishing company that was revolutionary, Pulphouse, followed by her award-winning tenure in The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction, she took off before returning to filming using the first anthology series Fiction River, printed by WMG Publishing. She edits some of those volumes, also behaves as string editor with her husband, author Dean Wesley Smith.
