L. J. Smith
Lisa Jane Smith is the New York Times #1 Bestselling author of Night World series, The Secret Circle, The Forbidden Game Visions, Wildworld and The Vampire Diaries. She has written more than two dozen books for kids and adults, and has enjoyed composing every one of these. She lives having a garden that is full of blossoms, which she adores with several shades of roses.
She likes to stop by a buddy’s small cottage at the Point Reyes National Seashore place, which has plenty of trees, tons of animals, a lot of beaches to stroll on, and lots of places to increase. After, while hiking, she saw. She also likes to collect items: angels (they remind her of her late mum), tiny boxes from various nations or of fanciful shape, nineteenth century kids’s books, along with books about quantum physics—particularly concerning the mystery of the dark energy in the world. A militant optimist, she is also part of this Velociraptor Sisterhood (a fancy way of saying that she enjoys to read, write and discuss books with strong female characters), and she's traveled extensively in Europe and the Far East. The two states she loves to see are Great Britain, with its monuments and country landscapes, and Japan, with mountain scenery and its urban life.
Her favorite present writer is Terry Pratchett, the author of the Discworld series, for its own wild and witty satires on life, death, war, love, assassins, coppers, and Australia. Her beloved writer is Jane Austen. Her favorite poets are Emily Dickinson and Robert Frost. Her favorite movies are the Seven Samurai and Avatar (analyze that!) . She doesn’t even have a favorite TV show, because she doesn’t have enough time to watch TV (and just possesses one for playing films).
