Hi ... My name is Judi Quelland. The books you see here on my Writer Page were originally printed in the 1950's to the 1970's. The Eggbert cartoons were on cocktail napkins. After almost a year of hunting, I finally found the girl of the first publisher (Percy Barker) and managed to receive the necessary permission to deliver these amazing books back into life. So, while I'm not the writer, I'm the compiler. Lester A. Friedman (LAF) was the original cartoonist.

I started out placing these beautiful cartoons and captions on maternity t-shirts, mugs, framed tiles, tote bags, mousepads and other products. Then we, (Mr. Barker's daughter, Susie, and I) chose to update the publications and create them in the kind of a journal for all of you expectant moms to compose your own story of your pregnancy. This was a true labor of love. (pun intended!)

I hope you will enjoy these books as much as I have enjoyed putting them together.
