I’ve been writing seriously for about 2 decades but I’t been an avid reader for as long as I can remember, erotic and other genres. I enjoy reading historical and contemporary romances in all pairings – so the thicker the better. But I've got a good excuse for the fun – study.
My stories are usually set in the north of England in which I live but that I draw inspiration from all around. An incident here, a event a chance remark that there any of these, or quirky character can spark a storyline idea. But finally my tales of resilience, challenge, love and empathy will be the conjurings of my own smutty and lurid creativity.
On the rare occasions I’m not composing my time is split between my function as resident taxi driver for my teenage daughter, also caring for a menagerie of dogs, rabbits, tortoises. And most recently an extremely grumpy cockatiel. I’m also a rural parish councillor.
My titles are numerous and diverse, and include the ‘Black Combe’ trilogies, The Dark SideEffects, Sure Mastery, The Hardest Word and also a Richness of Swallows, all put in the atmospheric moorland of all West Yorkshire or even Cumbria and also a strong BDSM theme. My stand alone novels are The Three Rs, Chameleon, Red Skye at Spirit, Faith and Night however all of the time grows. The Widow Is Mine is. I’ve written short stories, including Re-Awakening, a raunchy celebrity narrative, Right of Salvage, and also a MM narrative.
I have a heap of story ideas still to exercise, and continue thinking of new ones in the most improbable moments, and that means that you may expect to find a great deal more from me.
