Monster Cable Products, Inc. was founded in 1979 by Noel Lee, then a laser-fusion design engineer in Lawrence-Livermore Laboratory. Crucially for music fans around the Earth, Noel was also an audiophile and professional drummer, which makes his lab function in 1974 to play his band, Asian Wood. This love of music shaped the fate of the company then, and notifies the creation and application of Pure Monster Sound® in the 21st Century.
