Banksy Reviews

Is an England-based graffiti artist, political activist and movie director of identity. His satirical street artwork and epigrams unite dark humour with graffiti implemented in a distinguishing stenciling technique. His functions of political and social commentary are featured on bridges of towns, walls, and streets . Banksy's work dropped out of this Bristol underground arena, which involved collaborations between artists and musicians. Observers have noticed that his design is comparable to Blek le Rat, who began to work at Paris with stencils in 1981. Banksy says that he was motivated by "3D", a graffiti artist who later became a founding member of Massive Attack, a English musical group.

Banksy displays his art on openly observable surfaces such as walls and self-built physical prop bits. Banksy doesn't sell reproductions or photos of his road graffiti, but art auctioneers have been known to attempt to sell his street art and render the problem of its removal in the hands of the bidder. Banksy's first movie, Exit Throughout the Gift Shop, billed as "the world's first street artwork disaster movie", made its debut at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival. The film was released in the UK on 5 March 2010. He was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Documentary for the film. In 2014, he was given Person of the Year at the 2014 Webby Awards.
