Bates D. Moses, MD, FHM, FAAHPM made his medical degree in 1999 in the Loma Linda University School of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Kettering Medical Center in 2002. An former internal medicine hospitalist and present Fellow of Hospital Medicine he practices full time since a palliative medicine specialist to the Southern California Permanente Medical Group with Kaiser Permanente at Riverside, California. In 2012 he received an "Award for Excellence in Pain Management" in the prior Southern California Cancer Pain Initiative. Back in 2014 that he became a Fellow of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Board certified in Internal Medicine since 2002 and at Palliative Medicine because 2008 he works closely with his team in providing palliative medication for hepatitis patients, working together in expanding delivery of palliative care services, and with resident training.
