Becky Ohlsen Reviews

Becky Ohlsen is an independent writer and writer living in Portland, Oregon.

Becky has written Lonely Planet guidebooks about Sweden, Seattle, the Pacific Northwest, the Great Plains, and parts of both England and Wales. She also reviews books, books, food and beverage for local and national publications. A copy editor, she will debate points of grammar with anybody.

Though she's often told she does not seem the kind to ride a motorcycle, Becky is nonetheless a part of the Sang-Froid Riding Club, a Portland nonprofit, and has raced a vintage Honda on paths from Portland and Seattle. (She has never been at all of winning.) In 2009 she snapped a 30-year-old, 175cc bike from Portland into Knoxville, Tenn., with the notorious "555" team; she wrote about the experience for Cycle World magazine. Becky includes #x 2019 & a masterdegree in journalism from NYU’s Cultural Reporting and Criticism program. It is said she sincerely believes in trolls.
