Beverly Lynn Bennett is an experienced vegan chef and baker, writer, and also animal advocate who's enthusiastic about showing the world the way simple, delicious, and healthy it's to live and consume as a vegetarian. An accredited foodservice operations manager, she made her culinary arts degree in 1988 from the University of Akron, Ohio, and also in recent years that followed gained much practical experience working in and managing vegan and vegetarian restaurants and natural food stores.

Her work has appeared in many national and international print publications, on public tv and DVD, and all over the world wide web. She has hosted "The Vegan Chef" site at veganchef.com since 1999 and uttered the long-running column "Dairy-Free Desserts" at VegNews Magazine.
Beverly currently works and lives in the vegan-friendly city of Eugene, Oregon, where her love of healthy, organic, and exciting foods fuels a passion for creating innovative vegan recipes. Her work appeals to a wide assortment of tastes and provides enticing alternatives to those with dietary restrictions of all kinds. In her spare time, she can often be found advising other people on all things vegan, creating new culinary creations (an increasing amount of which are fermented or raw -free), also helping educate on topics involving animal rights, environment, and health, through cooking demos and speaking engagements.
