My name is Dawn Devine aka Davina, and I'm a writer, costumer, dancer, and historian. I have written a heap of books on earn and the best way best to design belly dancing outfits. Recently, I have been venturing out into novels about other facets of belly dance, like my latest novel, "Zills: Music on Your Fingertips - About Finger Cymbals." I also engaged in the definitive book on researching belly dance and alive the priest life, "Being a Belly Dancer: From Student to Phase." This 402-page book has three chapters on costume and look including a bunch of DIY, "Produced in a Weekend" endeavors.

My biggest search project turned publication, "Fabric of Egypt" is all about my favourite cloth assiut, assuit, azute or tulle bi telli - no matter how you spell it, this alloy embroidered cloth is magic! I have started work on the next name in the assiut show that will center on the design and structure of functionality wear. I'll be continuing use photographer Alisha Westerfeld and we are currently looking forward to a 2018 release.
