Roger's love for children's early learning has led him to create some of their most successful children's non-fiction books, first at Dorling Kindersley (My First Word Book, Incredible Cross Sections and My First Cook Book) until he founded Priddy Books using St. Martins Press in New York where a number of his novels have sold over a million copies every including First 100 Times, My Big Animal Book and Happy Baby Words.
In total he has sold over 65 million books worldwide and his novels are translated into over 30 languages.
He states "It is always rewarding to see that a kid learning and enjoying something from a few of our novels, particularly the babies when you think it may be the very first book they have ever observed.
I am quite lucky to have a career where you get to think of fun ways to teach a child how to compose their letters and find out their first words whilst learning about Dinosaurs at precisely the identical moment!"
Roger lives in London and has three children, who've given him a lot of his best ideas for his novels.
