Brian K. Johnson teaches persuasion to trial attorneys and people speaking to transactional lawyers. His international consulting practice requires him to law firms and training programs throughout the U.S. and Canada, as well as overseas into both United Kingdom and Europe. He has educated Solicitor Advocates in Belfast, Northern Ireland and Dublin, Ireland, and twice trained federal prosecutors for the Republic of Estonia.

With Marsha Hunter, he is co-author of The Articulate Advocate: New Techniques of Persuasion to Trial Lawyers, The Articulate Attorney: Public Speaking for Lawyers, as well as The Articulate Witness.

For the past decade he has coached all new Assistant United States Attorneys in the Department of Justice National Advocacy Center. He has become a communication expert to the National Institute for Trial Advocacy since 1981. In 2000, NITA realized his unique contribution to the teaching of advocacy abilities by presenting him with the Honorable Prentice Marshall Faculty Award. He had been the first non-lawyer from NITA history to receive that honour. For 26 years in a row, his court communication abilities lecture/demonstration using Marsha Hunter has kicked from the NITA National Trial Skills Session in Boulder, Colorado.

He has taught for the Law Society of Upper Canada at Toronto, along with the Law Society at Dublin, Ireland, as well as the Institute for Professional Legal Studies at Belfast, Northern Ireland. In addition, he teaches in the European offices of U.S. law companies.
