An Bay Area California Product, Brian Hamm attended Amador Valley High School where he played second base and shortstop. As a Junior he starred at second base with his double play partner, and current St. Louis Cardinal, Stephen Piscotty at shortstop. The following year, even as a grownup, Brian helped lead the Dons to its first NCS Championship on their way to a 25-3 record and ended the year with a position of 5th in the country by Max Preps. Even the 2-time all-league infielder continued his career at Chabot Junior College in which he slipped into one of their greatest hitters in the region. He also received the conference player of the year honour in his freshman season after being high 3 in the league in average, on-base percent, hits, runs scored, and stolen bases. After a succession of injuries forced him to redshirt his sophomore year, he obtained a scholarship. As a junior, Brian broke the college record for stolen bases in a season and led the program in runs scored. Even though a foot which held him out the season, Brian helped Cal State Monterey Bay place 2nd at the conference in his senior season. He was able to hit .300 and received honorable mention all-league because of his performance. Brian has continued to pursue his passion in baseball as the founder/owner of Baseball Toolshedand also a business built around the desire to create players and coaches improve their baseball skills. He recommends lots of different teams and players in an assortment of degrees that are different. His first novel, "The No Nonsense Baseball Players Guide to Peak Performance" is a player development program designed to help players reach the highest degree of their individual playing skill.
