Brent Hull, Owner and President of Hull Historical, is a nationally recognized authority in historic layout, architecturally correct moldings and millwork. Trained in the art of museum quality preservation in the esteemed North Bennet Street School in Boston, Brent is the exclusive licensee for the architectural interiors of the Winterthur Museum and Country Estate at Wilmington, Delaware, the first residence of H.F. du Pont.
A lifelong enthusiasm with a dedication to the design of architectural millwork where each style is handcrafted with focus on historical accuracy, led Brent to share his knowledge and teach others. A popular and dynamic speaker, Brent brings enthusiastic audiences of architects, designers and homebuilders to his keynote speeches and presentations. A lot of Brent's research is gathered from an immense wealth of information from publications at a private library of over 2,000 historic and trade pattern volumes.
Brent designed an award-winning line of moldings for Windsor Mill in California, and also the Kuiken Brothers enjoyed his help in designing 65 American molding profiles voted the The Top 100 Best New Products 2011 by This Old House Magazine. His writings and work have been featured in numerous publications, interior design books and sites. Hull's publication "Building a Timeless House in an Instant Age" is a Foreword Reviews' 2014 INDIEFAB Book of the Year Award Finalist.
Brent is the recipient of three John Staub awards for classical architecture in workmanship and historic restoration, is a board member of the Texas Chapter of the ICAA, and receiver of the 2012 NBSS Distinguished Alumni Award. Brent resides in Fort Worth Texas along with his wife and three kids.
