In Airtex Gas Delivery Systems, every item design has to pass rigorous testing before it is considered for creation. The engineering test lab is equipped with state of the art gear to support a broad assortment of functionality, durability, sound level and environmental vibration testing. Then it is quality checked at each stage of the production machining, fabrication and assembly procedure (around 60 times). Each pump is 100 percent end-of-line analyzed for stress free, out-of-the-box performance.

All water pumps fit OE specifications with no poor material substitutions and are 100% mill tested. OE quality water pump components include: pulleys and hubs equipped with data-collecting automatic presses; unitized bearing assemblies precision-ground and permanently lubricated; mounting surfaces machined to strict tolerances for proper sealing; impellers engineered for maximum coolant flow; and unitized seals offer outstanding protection against contamination and leakage.  

Besides a 100% analyzed Airtex water heater, timing kits also include expertly-designed, OE-quality timing straps formed from the most durable substances. Plus, when required by the program, kits also incorporate OE-quality tensioners, idler and tensioner pulleys, damper and tensioning springs. All components meet strict criteria for quality, look, fit and function.
