Alan Fogel is a Professor of Psychology Emeritus in the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. He was a Fulbright Fellow, and is the recipient of numerous research and teaching awards, even a fellow of the American Psychological Association. He's become an active contributor to study on social and emotional development in early childhood for the last 35 decades.
Due to his fascination with how babies develop within an socio-sensory-emotional planet, Fogel's clinical practice isn't psychotherapy but rather Rosen Method Bodywork (www.rosenjournal.org). That really is a treatment modality for adults combining responsive and touch discussion with the goal of enhancing client embodied self-awareness. On the basis of his clinical expertise, research work, and technical investigations, Fogel's new book, Body Sense, builds upon his previous books like Creating through Relationships and Change Processes from Relationships, to create a scientifically informed view of how our ability (or lack of it) to join with our bodies is governed through our interactions with others.
Alan includes a private Rosen Bodywork practice, and frequently instructs workshops and trainings in both Rosen Method and at Embodied Self-Awareness (www.alanfogelrosenmethod.abmp.com)
