Charlotte Maclay (currently writing as Charlotte Carter) has authored more than fifty books under various pseudonyms such as Harlequin Love Inspired, Harlequin American, Love and Laughter, Dorchester and Guideposts Books. I am especially delighted that some of my older Maclay books are now accessible as e-books.

I started my 'profession' of storytelling at the ripe old age of six. A neighbor buddy and I used to make up Bambi stories and act them out. She got to become Bambi; I was Thumper. My friend moved away. However, I kept making up stories and I was the star!

A great many years later, I'm still making up stories and the ideas keep coming.

I Reside in Southern California with my spouse. We have two daughters and five grandchildren, who are growing up fast. I'm an active member of the Orange County Chapter of Romance Writers of America and a frequent speaker for both neighborhood groups and composing organizations. Oh, and I do just a bit of standup comedy too.
