Christine B. Whelan
Dr. Christine B. Whelan is a writer, journalist and professor. She's the author of The Big Picture: A Guide to Finding Your Purpose in Life (2016), Generation WTF: From “Just What the #%$&” into some Wise, Tenacious, and also Fearless You (2011), Marry Smart: The Intelligent Woman’s Guide to True Love (2009) and Why Smart Men Marry Smart Women (2006).
Dr. Whelan is a clinical scientist at the School of Human Ecology in the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She earned a masters and doctorate from the University of Oxford and has held teaching positions at the University of Pittsburgh, University of Iowa and Princeton University in the Sociology and Politics branches.
Dr. Whelan is a thought leader in the Life Reimagined Institute, and serves a member of the Curator’s Council, advising self-improvement approaches for life’s adjustments. She is on the board of SEEK Safely, and a vocal advocate for the dissemination of research-based information.
Dr. Whelan graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University, where she had been Editor-in-Chief of the Daily Princetonian and has been awarded the Daniel M. Sachs Scholarship to attend Worcester College in the University of Oxford.
