Chris Wenger has been employed in the criminal justice area for more years than she cares to remember. She's a master's degree in Parole and Probation Studies and Sociology from Fordham University, however, the understanding gained from studies certainly didn't prepare her to what she likes to perform the many -- writing mysteries and romance!
Her first book, THE LADY AND THE COWBOY, a western historic, was written for beginning adult readers and was marketed to Laubach Literacy. Back in 1998, it had been chosen by the Publishers Liaison Committee of the Public Library Association's Adult Lifelong Learning Section among the "Top Titles for Adult New Readers."
Chris now writes for Harlequin Books. THE COWBOY WAY premiered in January 2005. Ever since then, she has published seven books. HOW TO LASSO A COWBOY has been a finalist at the Central NY Writers Awards. LASSOED INTO MARRIAGE is going to probably be available in June of 2013.
Chris's very first cozy mystery, known as DO OR DINER, will be available in August of 2013 from Pengin Obsidian Books.
An native Central New Yorker, she loves watching professional bull riding and rodeo along with her favorite lady, her husband Jim.
