Claudia Black, M.S.W., Ph.D. is a renowned dependence and codependency specialist, writer and trainer internationally known for her pioneering and modern work with household and addictive disorders. Because the 1970s Dr. Black's work has encompassed the effects of dependence on young and adult children. She's provided models of intervention and therapy linked to family violence, multi-addictions, childbirth, anger, and depression and women's issues. Dr. Black designs and presents training seminars and workshops to professional audiences in the field of family service, mental health, addiction and correctional services. Claudia is now Family Services Advisor for its Las Vegas Recovery Center and the Clinical. She serves on the Advisory Board for the National Association of the Moyer Foundation's Advisory Council, and Children of Alcoholics.
