Concept2 began in 1976 at the back of a bread truck when Dick and Peter Dreissigacker, fresh from Olympic training, began making composite racing oars. Concept2 oars have since gone on to become the oar of choice among the world's rowers, and innovations continue right to the current day.

Back in 1981, Dick and Peter established the Concept2 Indoor Rower, that swiftly became the most best selling rowing machine in the world. Now several versions later, it's used daily by Olympic athletes, cardiac rehabilitation patients, folks in the home and each caliber of rower in between.

Our full product lineup includes oars, the indoor rower and the SkiErg. We remain dedicated to our philosophy of offering the most innovative products and programs to our clients.

Every machine we produce comes from a history of twenty years of excellence. Our main aim is to encourage and promote the rise of rowing. We believe that rowing is a lifelong activity, accessible to all.
