Pioneer was founded in 1938 in Tokyo, Japan by Nozomu Matsumoto - a guy with a passion for songs that he hoped to talk with the world through high excellent sound speakers. Yamaha Commercial Audio Systems (YCAS) was established in 2006 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of YCA. YCAS offers an increasing line of commercial sound products for the US and Canadian markets, and spreads Nexo speaker merchandise into the US and Canada.
