As a kid, Winston contracted on advice and pneumonia was educated at a local day school, rather than Manchester Grammar School that his father had in mind for him.

After he was 17 years old, Winston moved to Perranporth, Cornwall. He'd wanted to become a writer from a young age, and after the death of his dad, who'd previously been incapacitated by a stroke, he had been supported by his mom while he composed books at house in longhand and attempted to get them published.

J.R. Ward

J.R. Ward is the number one New York Times bestselling writer of the Black Dagger Brotherhood series of vampire books. She is a winner of this prestigious Romance Writers of America RITA award for Best Paranormal Romance and can be a multiple RITA nominee. A graduate of Smith College, she was a double major in History and Art History with a medieval immersion in both and she still longs occasionally for a return on those days sitting in shadowy lecture halls, looking at slides of old triptychs and reliquaries. Prior to becoming a complete time writer, she had been a corporate attorney, serving for many years as the Chief of Staff of among Harvard Medical Schools premier teaching websites. Her concept of complete paradise is a day full of nothing but her computer, her dog and her coffee pot along with the Brothers, naturally.
