Roger Priddy

Roger Priddy is the founder of more than two hundred best selling books for young kids such as Wipe Clean ABC, First 100 Words, and Fuzzy Bee.

When he was at college he could not decide between being a patisserie chef or going to art school. On the recommendation of his dad he picked art school and educated as an illustrator before becoming a designer at Usborne Publishing.

Roger's love for children's early learning has led him to create some of their most successful children's non-fiction books, first at Dorling Kindersley (My First Word Book, Incredible Cross Sections and My First Cook Book) until he founded Priddy Books using St. Martins Press in New York where a number of his novels have sold over a million copies every including First 100 Times, My Big Animal Book and Happy Baby Words.

In total he has sold over 65 million books worldwide and his novels are translated into over 30 languages.

He states "It is always rewarding to see that a kid learning and enjoying something from a few of our novels, particularly the babies when you think it may be the very first book they have ever observed.
