My name is Audrey Johns and I'd like to share my weight loss story .


I have been significant my whole life, in my largest I was 275 lbs and a size 20. I hated how I looked and how I felt. I have tried every diet out there, South Beach, Weight Watchers, Atkins, sugar free, fat free, calorie counting, and you name it I have tried it. Sometimes I'd drop a little weight, but necessarily a thing occurred, I gave up and gained it back plus more.


In 2011 I had enough of being fat, I hated I was constantly the happiest person in the room. I began cooking 3 meals every day and loved the ritual of cooking and taking better care of myself, but most of all I enjoyed the meals. I taught myself and with that to lose weight.


I discovered that when I stopped eating processed foods, anything using preservatives, additives and artificial sweeteners, and also increased my water intake the weight just started to fall off! I had been struggling to eliminate weight eating frozen "diet" foods and diet sodas all day daily, eating under 1000 calories all along starving and gaining weight. Now I had been eating actual food daily and drinking a great deal of water. My calorie count moved up to 1200-1400 and also the weight flew off and has stayed off.


1 year after I was 150 pounds lighter! I'm now 120 pounds and a size 4, so I feel and look amazing.


Thus many of my buddies asked concerning my weight loss I eventually started my blog loseweightbyeating.com on New Years Day 2012 to answer their questions.
