Miranda Esmonde White

Miranda Esmonde-White is one of America’s best advocates and educators of healthy aging. She is best known for her PBS fitness show, Classical Stretch, which has been aired as 1999 and has been ranked the #1 fitness show on the network, and also for producing the Essentrics technique which Classical Stretch is based upon. She's filmed over 300 episodes of traditional Stretch work outs, a number available on DVD. After her career as a professional ballerina, Miranda developed Essentrics, which resulted in her becoming the versatility trainer and advisor to several professional and Olympic athletes and actors.

Miranda’s publication, Aging Backwards, hits shelves at November 2014 and will reevaluate the way we understand the role fitness plays in slowing down the aging process when maintaining our bodies young, attractive, powerful and healthy. According to Montreal, Miranda spends time continuing to develop the technique, training and writing new teachers. She travels extensively giving lectures, weeklong Assignment training sessions and retreats.
