Cheryl Bolen is the New York Times, USA Today best-selling author of over two dozen Regency-set historical romance novels. Her novels have placed in several writing competitions, such as the Daphne du Maurier, and have already been translated into eight languages. She was called Notable New Writer in 1999, and in 2006 she won the Holt Medallion (Honoring Outstanding Literary Talent) to Best Short Historical Novel. In 2012 she won Best Historical in the International Digital awards for eBooks published the previous calendar year, and among her 2011 novellas won Best Historical Novella. Her novels are becoming Barnes & Noble and Amazon bestsellers.

A lot of her readers love her most union of convenience stories. Her milder books are compared to Georgette Heyer, and her more psychological reads (where the heroine has several obstacles until her happy ending)'ve been compared to Mary Balogh.
