Jana DeLeon

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Jana DeLeon was increased in southwest Louisiana one of the bayous along with gators. Her hometown is Carlyss, but you likely won't locate it on a map. Her family owned a camp situated on a bayou just from the Gulf of Mexico that you could only get there by boat. The most significant feature was that the rope hammock hanging in the shade on a massive deck that extended out above the water where Jana spent many hours reading books.

Jana and her brother invested countless hours combing the bayous at a flat-bottom aluminum boat, analyzing the natural habitat of several birds, nutria and alligators. She'd like you to understand that no animals were injured during those "studies," but they kept manufacturers of peroxide in industry.

Jana hasn't stumbled across a mystery or a ghost such as her heroines, but she is still hopeful.

She currently resides in Dallas, Texas, together with all the many spoiled Sheltie in the world.
