Jonathan Haidt

Jonathan Haidt is currently the Thomas Cooley Professor of Ethical Leadership at New York University's Stern School of Business. He received his Ph.D. in social psychology from the University of Pennsylvania in 1992 and did post-doctoral research in the University of Chicago and at Orissa, India. He taught at the University of Virginia for 16 years, where he conducted the research reported from The Righteous Mind.
His study focuses on morality - its emotional foundations, cultural variations, and developmental class. He began his career researching the adverse moral emotions, such as disgust, shame, and vengeance, but proceeded on to the understudied positive moral emotions, such as admiration, awe, and moral elevation. He is the co-developer of Moral Foundations concept, and of the research site YourMorals.org. He was also the 2004 winner of this Virginia "Outstanding Faculty Award." James D. Baird

James D. Baird, Ph.D. has over forty decades of experience as a successful graduate and journalist scientist. A leader in the new science of ultrasonics, Baird has made several patents and a successful entrepreneur based Dynasonics, Inc.. A design and manufacturing company of computers and sensors.
His inventor history instilled in him a persistent curiosity about how things work, translating out of mechanisms to life.
