Tim Jeffs

Tim Jeffs is the American artist and illustrator best known for his intricate and highly detailed drawings of creatures. He's received global attention for his art, and his coloring books and art prints have sold globally in more than 20 countries. Using only black ink pencils and coloured pencils he proceeds to attract animals to life via his continuing set of portrait examples. His drawings capture even the smallest details of each creature’s fur skin texture, and designs. His art and his passion of animal conservation has led Tim to help raise animal awareness and research funds for well known associations such as The World Wildlife Fund, The Seattle Aquarium, The Cheetah Conservation Fund, The International Rhino Foundation, and The Panama Wildlife Conservation.

“Drawing has always been my passion and a thing that I always do. The amazing diversity and sophistication of creatures has always intrigued me. They provide endless pleasure to appear and marvel upon. Having the capacity to inform the public to these incredible animals through my art is my lifelong wish. In every drawing I try to capture the special quality of each particular animal. I'll always delight in making my perspective, respect and love of these awesome animals we live among. ”

Tim was created in 1965, the 7th based on 8 children, also grew up in Rockville, Maryland.
