John U. Bacon

John U. Bacon has written seven books on business and sports, the last four all New York Times Bestsellers. He is publishing two more in 2017: The Great Halifax Explosion in November, and Profession with Hurt with John Saunders in August.

Bacon supplies weekly sports commentary on Michigan Radio, and frequently for NPR, also appears frequently on TV, including CNN International, ESPN, and The Big Six Network. Bacon also gives addresses for companies such as Ameriprise, Volvo North America, also Microsoft Brazil, also instructs at Northwestern's Medill School of Journalism and the University of Michigan, in which he obtained the 2009 Golden Apple Award for "instruction."
