Robert Spencer

ROBERT SPENCER is the director of Jihad Watch, a Schedule of This David Horowitz Freedom Center, and the author of seventeen books, including the New York Times bestsellers The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam (and the Crusades) and The Truth About Muhammad.

His latest novel is The Entire Infidel’s Guide into Iran. Coming in 2017 are The Complete Infidel’s Guide to Free Speech (and Its Enemies) and Confessions of an Islamophobe (Bombardier Books).

Spencer has led seminars on Islam and jihad for the FBI, the United States Central Command, United States Army Command and General Staff College, the U.S. Army’s Asymmetric Warfare Group, the Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF), the Justice Departmentand also#x2019;s Anti-Terrorism Advisory Council along with also the U.S. intelligence community. He has discussed jihad, Islam, and terrorism at a workshop sponsored by the U.S. State Department and the German Foreign Ministry. He's a consultant of the American Freedom Defense Initiative and vice president with the Center for Security Policy.

Spencer is currently a weekly columnist for both PJ Media and FrontPage Magazine, and has written many hundreds of articles about jihad and Islamic terrorism. His articles on Islam and other subjects have appeared in the Los Angeles Times, the San Francisco Examiner, the New York Post, the Washington Times, the Dallas Morning News, Fox News Opinion, National Review, The Hill, the Detroit News, TownHall.com, Real Clear Religion, the Daily Caller, the New Criterion, the Journal of International Security Affairs, the UK’s Guardian, Canada’s National Post, Middle East Quarterly, WorldNet Daily, First Things, Insight in the News, Aleteia, and a Number of Other journals. Tina Cassidy

Tina Cassidy has been editor and a reporter in the Boston Globe for more than a decade, covering everything from business. She is the author of two books: Birth: The Unusual History of The Way We Are Born, published by Atlantic Monthly Press in 2006; and Jackie Following O: A Remarkable Year After Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Defied Expectations and Rediscovered Her predecessors. Her husband is the writer Anthony Flint and they reside in Massachusetts.

Patricia Harman

Patricia Harman has now spent more than thirty years afterwards as a nurse-midwife in teaching physicians and at a community hospital birthing center, bringing babies and on farms in West Virginia, and caring for women as a midwife, first because of lay-midwife.

She spent over a decade in the sixties and seventies in her wild youth living in rural communes at Washington (Tolstoy Farm), Connecticut (The Committee for Non-Violent Action) and Minnesota (Free Folk). Throughout the Vietnam years, Tom Harman, she and her husband, traveled the country as they looked for a place to settle. On top of a ridge in Roane County they purchased a farm with a group of like-minded buddies in 1974. Here on the commune, they dug a pond, built log houses, grew and preserved their food and began the Tree Natural Foods Cooperative.

It was during this time that Patsy attended her very first home arrival, more or less by accident. "Some people are destined," she has written. "I had been staying in a woman friend's commune when she went into labour and I ended up bringing my very first baby." Harman traveled to train with a collective of home-birth midwives shortly after. After she returned, she eventually became one of the founding members of Midwives' West Virginia Cooperative. For caring for infants and girls, her passion directed her to become an RN because the very first step in getting licensed as certified nurse midwife. In 1985, together with a cat her children along with her husband north traveled, yanking a broken trailer where she received her MSN in 38, to start her training in the University of Minnesota.
