Sharyl Attkisson is a five-time Emmy Award winner, recipient of the Edward R. Murrow award for investigative reporting and a fourth degree black belt in TaeKwonDo. She is author of the new novel "The Smear" to be released in Spring 2017 and the New York Times best seller "Stonewalled."

Attkisson hosts the Sunday morning nationwide TV news program "Total Measure," which concentrates on investigative and liability reporting.For thirty decades, Attkisson has been a correspondent and anchor at CBS News, PBS, CNN and at local news.

Attkisson has helped expose the profound astroturf network of governmental and special interests that affect and dominate politics, government, the media, social networking and much of what people ready daily on the Internet. She's now suing the U.S. authorities after three independent forensics exams given evidence that her job and home computers had been monitored by unauthorized intrusion using software proprietary to some U.S. government bureau, since she reported her Emmy award winning stories on alleged administration wrongdoing.

In 2013, Attkisson received an Emmy Award for OutstandingInvestigative Journalism because of his own reporting on "The Business of Congress," whichincluded an undercover investigation into repaint by Republican freshmen.She received two additional Emmy nominations in 2013 for "Benghazi: Dying forSecurity" and "Green Energy Going Red." In Addition, Attkisson received a 2013 Daytime Emmy Award as part of their CBS Sunday Morning group's entrance for Outstanding Morning Program for her name:"Washington Lobbying: K-Street Behind Closed Doors." Back in September 2012, Attkisson received the Emmy for Outstanding Investigative Journalism and the RTNDA Edward R.
